In order to ensure continuous improvement in HSE and achieve our goals, we monitor and audit the targets and performance indicators we have determined, increase awareness by providing training to our employees and contractors, ensure participation by evaluating the opinions and suggestions of our employees, contractors, and stakeholders, establish collaborations, and share best practices,

The primary element we prioritize in our health activities is "human". Therefore, we ensure that necessary medical examinations are conducted so that our employees can start work in good health and continue working while maintaining their health. We conduct pre-employment and periodic health examinations for all our employees in accordance with legislation.

In addition, based on the evaluations of our workplace physicians, we determine the necessary job-specific medical examinations for our employees and monitor them continuously.

SAFETY

In line with our zero-accident target, we manage our operations in accordance with the ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System and publish our performance indicators in our sustainability report in line with our transparency principle. We carry out our activities in compliance with legislation, standards, and procedures, with respect for society. We prioritize the health and safety of our employees, contractors, and neighbors, and determine our business continuity goals based on the priority of ensuring a healthy and safe working environment.

• We carry out activities to increase and continuously maintain the awareness of our employees regarding safety culture,
• We conduct regular maintenance activities with our experienced technical personnel/contractors and continuously improve ourselves by auditing our operations through our Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) professional staff.

In order to maintain our safety culture at a high level, we organize OHS trainings, review and improve our emergency plans, and conduct emergency drills. We ensure that the studies required for issues such as preparation of emergency plans, prevention, protection, evacuation, firefighting, and first aid are carried out, that the individuals assigned to manage these situations are prepared, that performance in practice is monitored, and that continuous improvement is achieved.

To manage changes that may occur in the workplace, we carry out change management activities and conduct risk assessments before each operation to evaluate potential risks. In risk assessment studies, we identify hazards, implement measures for potential risks, and reduce risks arising from our activities to the lowest possible level. We value risk-based thinking and consider all stakeholders while evaluating risks.

We record reports of all hazardous conditions/behaviors and near-miss incidents that may cause possible accidents and occupational diseases, take necessary actions, and implement corrective activities. By conducting root cause analyses of past accidents, we share lessons learned and best practices identified during audits with our employees through informational bulletins.

We prioritize the road safety of our employees, contractors, and business partners, and carry out activities to increase awareness beyond legislative requirements. We ensure the necessary measures for the safe transportation and storage of hazardous materials and maintain continuous awareness through trainings, site visits, and drills.

ENVIRONMENT

We manage our activities in accordance with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System and publish our environmental performance indicators in our Sustainability Report.

While planning our activities, we take the environment into consideration; we identify and evaluate potential environmental impacts during the planning phase. At this stage, we plan our operations not only to comply with legal limit values but also to achieve better results than these limits.

We ensure full compliance with environmental legal regulations. We continuously evaluate environmental risks and opportunities that may arise during our activities and take preventive measures to minimize risks. In line with our Environmental Management approach and Zero Waste philosophy, we implement our workflows in a way that prevents waste generation or minimizes it, and ensure that waste is evaluated in accordance with legislation, prioritizing recycling. After separating all our waste, including plastic, metal, paper, and glass, at the source, we deliver them to licensed recycling or disposal companies and continuously monitor waste quantities.

To ensure the efficient use of our resources, we follow technological innovations aimed at reducing energy and water consumption and implement them in our operations.

In order to ensure environmental safety, we carry out training, auditing, and drill activities, take necessary safety measures in all our facilities, and closely monitor potential risks.

To increase environmental awareness among our employees, we carry out activities for all employees on June 5, World Environment Day, in addition to training programs.

As a company that fulfills its responsibilities in line with our goals, our main objectives are to have a significant position in the sector and to ensure that employees, contractors, and members of society are not exposed to any injuries or illnesses that may arise from our activities.

An HSE meeting is held once a year with pre-qualified companies. In these meetings, experiences gained over a one-year period are shared, and problematic areas and deficiencies are evaluated. Solution proposals are developed and implemented to eliminate problems.

We commit to investigating potential nonconformities with the policy, taking necessary actions to eliminate them, and thereby preventing major accidents, ensuring the health and safety of employees and visitors, and protecting the environment.
